This message comes to me at a very interesting time. We are in a place of civil unrest and segregation. We are at each other’s throats and we are completely blind to each other’s views and opinions. The truth is, we are not the same. That is just reality. Not being the same is what makes us so wonderful. Some of us are smarter, some are stronger, some wittier, and so on. Therefore, our mission is to embrace each other and accept each other and exist peacefully with each other. We fight for individuality and praise those who are not part of the social norm, but then we are upset when we are not accepted or seen in the same light as the crowd, we are striving so hard to stand out in.
This is not about rights or political views. This is about individuality and embracing our truth. Our authenticity in a world that has been homogenized.
It is my hope, my prayer, that we see ourselves and each other for the unique wonderful creations that we are. That rather than strive to keep up with others, we strive to stand in our own special space, a space that nobody else in this world can fill.
The spiritual revolution that is taking place is not about gaining equality, it is about embracing individuality. About understanding and holding space for each other. WE are the generation, and this is the time. The time for love, the time for awakening, the time for transformation.
Maybe that takes a revolution… Or maybe, it takes an awakening. Open your eyes and see what is sitting right in front of you. See who is sitting in front of you. A true deep understanding of who we are and why we are is the most intelligent thing we can do. Slow down and see each other, listen to each other, embrace each other.
I don’t want a world that is the same. I want strong independent communities that support each other.
Do we really want to integrate to a point that everything we are is watered down into one homogenized belief, system, way of life?
We will never be equal… That is just the reality of life. We are always going to be different from each other. How we view those differences and how we support each other is what needs to change.
Coexistence is a start, but it is not enough. It is our responsibility to flourish as a team. A team that co-creates the next 100 years “together”. The next 100 are up to us. What do they look like?
In business, I learned quickly how different we are from each other. My first instinct was anger and fear. I was confused and didn’t understand how to manage myself and therefore the people I was doing business with.
Over time I realized what a blessing it is to have people who don’t think like me… Who don’t function like me… Who don’t execute like me. This is where the magic happens. This is where we see our strengths complement each other. Where we can achieve things greater together than we ever could alone.
Understanding this changed my life. In not only helped me appreciate those around me, but it helped me appreciate myself.
Our relationship with ourselves reflects our relationship with everything outside of ourselves.
Therefore, it is our greatest undertaking to cultivate and transform within, so we may manifest true beauty and wonder in the world.
My motto is “look within, all answers are there”.
Everything starts with you. Personal development is the best investment you will ever make. Not only for yourself, but for the world.
You want the world to be a better place?
You want to achieve things you never thought possible?
Look in the mirror and start there!
